Biography

Maedeh Taheri received her B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Shiraz University, Iran. She is presently working as a Graduate Student Researcher in Professor Balandin’s Nano-Device Laboratory (NDL) at the University of California – Riverside (UCR). She is experienced in the cleanroom nanoscale device fabrication and electrical characterization, as well as low-frequency electronic noise measurements. Her research is focused on nano-fabrication and testing devices with quasi-1D and quasi-2D channels implemented with the charge-density wave (CDW) materials. She has expertise in microscopy and micro-Raman spectroscopy study of advanced materials. As a Teaching Assistant, she conducted discussion sessions for the Engineering Electromagnetics and other courses.
