Biography

Mohammed Saadah is a Graduate Student Researcher in Professor Balandin’s POEM Center at the University of California – Riverside (UCR). He obtained his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (2013) from UCR. He is expected to defend his PhD degree in 2017. His research involves preparation and characterization of the thermal interface materials (TIMs) and thermal phase change materials (PCMs) with graphene fillers, thermal conductivity measurements, thermal managements of photovoltaic (PV) solar cells, characterization of the concentrated photovoltaic solar cells, photoluminescence and fluorescence spectroscopy of composite materials. He has demonstrated an efficient use of graphene-enhanced TIMs with the concentrated multi-junction PV solar cells.
